We get stronger and more resilient.”

Sports and Performance Support
We tailor our evidence-based therapeutic approaches to each individual and family. We respect and draw upon the personal knowledge you bring with you to each session and meet you with curiosity and kindness.
We aim to support all facets of well-being inclusive of mental, physical, emotional, and social health, taking into consideration social and family relationships as well as work and educational factors.

Autism and ADHD strategies
Being a parent can be both rewarding and challenging. We understand the importance of parents having access to supports when required. Head Strong Psychology supports parents to be responsive and attuned to their children, while setting safe and predictable boundaries that align with the families needs and values.
Parent strategies sessions may focus on the child-parent relationship, anxiety, challenging behaviours, parenting autistic and ADHDer kiddos, co-parenting, self-esteem, sibling conflicts, bullying and beyond.

Educational and Workplace Advocacy
Head Strong Psychology understands the pressure that can arise from being a passionate sports-person or high-performance athlete. Physical, emotional and psychological health all contribute to an athletes performance.
We support athletes with perfectionism, performance anxiety, pre-game anxiety, sports trauma and recovery from injury.
We recognise the beauty in all brains and understand the challenges that can come with fitting a neurodivergent brain into an environment set up for neurotypical brains.
We work to understand the emotional, sensory, learning, communication and social needs of the individual and tailor strategies around their strengths and areas of interest.
Head Strong Psychology is passionate about supporting the needs of our clients across all aspects of life. At times, this means working alongside preschools, schools, universities and workplaces to advocate for relevant and appropriate supports.
This advocacy can help our clients gain an academic level-playing field, fairer workplace conditions and foster psychological and emotional well-being.
